Awaken in the shadows of the deep rainforest. All around you life is teaming, and the air is thick with the breath of life. The rich green scent of the plants around you is both earthy and intoxicating, and everything moves with the pulse of electricity. Everywhere you look, they are there... the Maninkari. They are the spirits of life, the teachers of the soul, the medicine men of our minds, and the protectors of universe.
"Maninkari Spirits Incense" is by far one of my most tedious blends to make, though it is also the most enjoyable. Numerous raw ingredients are first gathered and then extracted for nearly a year. The blend must be cured once the resins are added and allowed to dry. I love working with these various plants who very much have personalities all their own, and who hold the knowledge of various aspects of healing. I think of this incense as a sort of "icaros", meaning that the healing spirits may be called upon through the "song" of the incense. In no way was this blend intended as a physical Ayahuasca analog, but rather an ode to one of the most powerful teachers in the plant kingdom. This blend has one of the most natural forest-like aromatic properties when compared to most of my other blends.
Though this blend is completely safe to use simply as a casual aromatic, the initial intent lends its use to esoteric paths, especially when used in combination with shamanic workings. This incense may be a good choice for those meditating on the healing mysteries of both the body and the mind and for those looking to connect with the natural forces that live within and without our plane of existence.
