Enter the Outback, and how the sun beats down upon the cracked earth, awaiting the rains to fall from the heavens. The scent of nature is all around, as animals find shelter in the small shrubs that cling on to life. The Koala shaman is your guide. He will lead you to the safety of the coastal forests.
"Koala's Outback Incense" was a blend mainly inspired by my wife's love for creating animal illustrations. It gave me the perfect opportunity to work with Kauri as a resin base and to further explore some of the botanicals from Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea. The Kauri lends itself to a dry, earthy, hot feel that was further magnified by the solar power of the Amber. The Tea Tree and Eucalyptus added a somewhat strangely refreshing effect to the blend, while the green Musk finished the everything off with a bestial wilderness type note. This ended up being one of the most "alien" incense blends I have ever produce, with just as many people loving it as there were who hated it. I plan on revisiting this idea in the future and exploring more botanicals from the land down under.
For those following more esoteric paths, I believe this blend would be excellent when working with animal and earth spirits. It may also be quite useful for bringing elements of the Sun into workings that require the dry, unforgiving heat of the outback. But like all of my blends, I believe the intended use of the incense should be solely up to the user.

Some things to think about are the product's packaging/ presentation, scent of the incense (smoldered or fresh), how it smolders compared to other resin incense, how long the it lasts for you, where you like to burn this incense, or whatever else comes to mind.
